Chen’s spiritual and psychic teachings

Everything I wish somebody had explained to me when this started. Written with Chen, for people who are new to all of it.

Chen’s Spiritual and Psychic Teachings, the paperback by Andy Porter

Why it exists

The book I went looking for, and never found

At the start of my own spiritual path the information I needed was scattered across dozens of books, most of them written for people already deep in it. I spent years working through one after another, bought mainly from the esoteric bookshops in Glastonbury, hoping to find the single book that would explain this new world and answer the questions dominating my waking thoughts.

I never found it. So I made a promise to myself that one day I would write it for the people coming along behind me. This is that book, and it took a year to get it out of my head and onto the page.

Chen channelled much of what is in it, and every chapter carries a passage from him.

Two ways to read it. The ebook is the complete book as a PDF, 123 pages, sent to you the moment you check out. The paperback is the printed copy, posted to you.

What is inside

The whole picture, in plain English

Thirty three short chapters. Read it end to end, or go straight to the part you need.

Energy and the body

Chakras major and minor, the aura, and the four energy bodies. What each one does, and how to strengthen your own field.

What is out there

Ghosts, entities, thought forms and psychic vampires. Spirit attachment, what causes it and how it feels. Curses, witchcraft and ouija boards.

Protecting yourself

The golden bubble, the purple flame and the golden shower. Protecting your home with salt, crystals, sound and smudging.

The bigger picture

Planetary changes, the alien agenda and extra terrestrial involvement in human evolution. Karma, devas, animals, religion and meditation.

How it started

It began with a bed two feet off the floor

Up until the age of 34 I had never given a spiritual dimension a moment’s thought. I was not religious, I did not believe in ghosts or entities in the slightest, and normal family life and a laugh was all that really captured my imagination.

Then I moved into a house in Wiltshire. Within about four weeks we started noticing that things did not feel right. Noises at night, my car keys forever disappearing, lights and heating that seemed to have a will of their own, and the hairs on my arms standing up every time I walked through the place.

One night I woke up cold, opened my eyes, and found the foot of my bed two feet off the floor. In the morning the bed had moved and the casters were off to one side. King size beds are heavy, so all doubt left me instantly.

Most of my friends decided I was having a crisis and quietly dropped away. Years on that seems funny. The crisis was an awakening to a reality most people never notice.

Chen’s part in it

A passage from Chen in every chapter

Chen is my guide, a rice farmer who died in China in 1624. His sections were taken down through automatic writing, which is writing produced from a spiritual source without conscious awareness of the content. I sit, he speaks, my hand writes, and I usually read it back afterwards much the same way you are about to.

“Chakras are the core energetic engine of the spiritual and physical body. They are very misunderstood and many of the teachings do not correctly or adequately cover how they work and what they do.”
Chen, on chakras

Before you buy

Who it is for

  • Anyone who has started noticing things they cannot explain
  • People new to spirituality who want the whole picture in one place
  • Healers, therapists and sensitives who need to protect their own energy
  • Anyone who has been told they are imagining it

What it is not. It is not a bible to be followed to the letter. It is a book of reference meant to point you in the right direction.

Your own higher self will take you the rest of the way. Most of what is in here was learned through experience, and at times to my personal detriment.
