For journalists, podcast hosts, TV and radio producers, event organisers and content creators who’d like to feature me, or Chen. You’re very welcome here.
At a glance
Who you’d be talking to
I’m a psychic surgeon, and I work with my spirit guide, Chen. It started as a problem rather than a calling, and twenty years later it’s my life’s work. Here are the facts you’ll probably want for your notes.
- Practising as a psychic surgeon since 2004, working remotely with clients all over the world
- Ten years, from 2011 to 2021, as the main dedicated medium in Dr Terence Palmer PhD’s research into spirit possession
- Contributor to Dr Palmer’s book The Science of Spirit Possession
- Co-founder of the Spirit Release Academy, with Jonno Webster
- One of the three founders of the Unity of UK Psychic Surgeons in 2008
- IPHM certified trainer and practitioner
- Co-host, with Jayne, of Ask Chen, a live weekly Q and A where I channel Chen

Story ideas
What I can talk about
A few of the subjects people ask me about most. I’m always happy to shape something around your audience.
How it all started
A haunted house, a bed lifted two feet off the floor, and a sceptic who stopped laughing. Nobody sets out to do this work, and my way in was terrifying.
Psychic surgery and spirit release
What they are, how a remote session actually works, and what someone receives afterwards. Explained plainly, for people who have never heard of either.
Ten years with Dr Terence Palmer
What an academic and a medium studied together for a decade, and the Remote Spirit Release protocol that came out of it.
The day psychic surgery became insurable
How three healers met at a newspaper office in Bristol in 2008 and, within weeks, made psychic surgery an insurable therapy in the UK.
Chen
A rice farmer who died in China in 1624, and why his answer to almost every question is to laugh every day.
Protecting your energy
Practical protection for healers, therapists and anyone who walks into a room and takes on the mood in it.
Ways to work together
How I can take part
Interviews
Print, online, TV and radio. I’m happy to explain the work plainly for an audience who have never come across it.
Podcasts and creators
As a guest on your show or channel, or a collaboration built around any of the subjects above.
Events and talks
Talks, workshops and guided meditations for events, groups and gatherings.
Coverage so far
What others have said
Spirit and Soul Magazine
A feature on my work as a psychic surgeon. Rather than take my word for it, the journalist contacted my clients directly and asked them for their own account.
Hear me for yourself
The podcast and the Ask Chen replays are the quickest way to get a feel for how I come across, and how Chen does.
Before you get in touch
Good to know
I’m not medically trained. I always tell people to see their doctor first, and I’m happy to talk about that openly on air.
Client privacy comes first. I never pass on anyone’s details.
Healthy scepticism is welcome. My advice to anyone is not to believe because someone tells you to. Keep an open mind and judge the work by what it does.
